Alexandra Yaworski

Bio:

Alex is a Sports Physiotherapist (Diploma) with a Kinesiology undergraduate degree and Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta. She holds a diploma in Sports Physiotherapy and acts as a mentor within the program. Alex is also certified in acupuncture by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Alex started her career in private practice, and followed that working as a Varsity Sport Physiotherapist with the University of Alberta Golden Bears and Pandas. Alex has completed her 200h yoga teacher training and enjoys being able to combine that with her kinesiology background to create exercise centered options for clients. She has expanded on her sport base by delving into women’s pelvic health and becoming a pelvic health physiotherapist, and works hard to provide appropriate pelvic resources to female athletes. She’s looking forward to building on this area of practice to help girls and women continue to thrive in sport. As a mom of 3, she’s always on the move, and  in their “spare time”, they are an outdoor centered family that’s always on the move whether by bike, paddle, ski, rock, or foot.
