Alberta Association of Physiotherapy

Andrew Ahn

Bio:

Andrew was born and raised in Edmonton where he completed a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Alberta. During his time as a student he was also a part of the University Track team, where he specialized in sprinting.

Andrew moved to Calgary a few years ago to continue his passion for physical therapy. Andrew strives to provide his clients with a multitude of tools that enable them to successfully reach a physiotherapy graduation! He accomplishes this by prioritizing education, incorporating various manual therapy techniques, crafting an individualized exercise program and co-creating a personalized treatment plan tailored to each client. Andrew’s methods are centred around active rehab and encouraging all of his clients to gain autonomy thought proactiveness during the process.

Additionally, Andrew is currently continuing to expand his expertise by working to attain his Functional Dry Needling/Intramuscular stimulation certificate as well as becoming a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach.

When he is not in the clinic you are most likely to find him lifting weights, with his two dogs, on a mountain hiking/snowboarding and all the while also cheering on his beloved Edmonton Oilers.
