Bio:
I’m an orthopaedic and vestibular physiotherapist spreading joy and healing from Capilano Rehab Center. From the time I spent working as a massage therapist honing my hands-on skills, my studies and ongoing learning have culminated in the relentless pursuit of delivering the best care possible. My post secondary coursework has taken me through clinical work as a registered massage therapist, to achieving my credentials as a Certified Fitness Consultant from the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists in 2005. I subsequently returned to the University of Alberta to receive my Masters in Physical Therapy in 2009. Further coursework as a PT include certification in Acupuncture from the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation (2012), Radial Shockwave certification (2015) and APTA Vestibular Rehabilitation Certification from Emory University (2015), and GUNN IMS in 2016. I have a special interest in the treatment of elite swimmers and runners from various clubs in the Edmonton region.
