Bio:

Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (UCalgary: 2016) and his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (UAlberta: 2020) after his initial start in post-secondary education at Medicine Hat College. While at Medicine Hat College, he played Rattlers Golf and was a founding member of the Rattlers Athletics Leadership Initiative which is a program derived to improve community involvement. Brett continues to work in the community, sharing his expertise with the South Alberta Hockey Academy and also instructing part-time with Medicine Hat College. Brett also teaches a golf-specific exercise class in the winter, where he assists local players move better for the golf season – golf is one of his biggest passions in his free time.
Brett loves the problem-solving component of being a physiotherapist. He has a passion for treating shoulders and knees, and has taken postgraduate training in concussion management. He is also passionate about chronic pain care and developing self-management strategies for patients. Regardless of the physical problem, Brett likes working with his clients to find strategies that work best for them and then helping them progress back to the lifestyle they want to live.
