Susan Massitti

Bio:

 

Susan Massitti is dedicated to working together with her clients to achieve optimal health, function and performance. Her expertise has helped Olympic and recreational athletes, as well as empowered many to  restore their health listening to her clients and using numerous modalities.

Susan graduated  from the University of Queensland in Australia with  Clinical Masters and is continually learning. Susan  teaches post graduate physical therapy courses across Canada, including  the UBC Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation  course (www.ubcgunnims.com) and instructed in the Canadian Sport Institute Coach’s  program. Passionate about movement as medicine Susan is a Classical Pilates teacher.

Susan competed in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics in long track speed skating.   Susan has worked at  a multitude of international sporting events, including three Summer Olympics (1996 Atlanta &  2000 Sydney (swimming),  the 2008 Beijing Olympics (gymnastics),  the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics (snowboarding), 2011 Youth Commonwealth , the first ever 2012 Youth Winter Olympics, 2015 Pan Am Games and numerous of figure skating events including the 2006 World Championships!
