Kelsey Drew
Bio:
Kelsey graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) in 2017 after completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) at Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS) in 2015. After a few years of practicing as a physiotherapist in Ottawa, Kelsey moved to Calgary in early 2020.
No matter her client’s age or activity level, Kelsey is committed to practicing in a way that emphasizes individualized, direct hands-on care, and education. As a firm believer in evidence-based practice, Kelsey ensures that the treatments she provides are both safe and effective for her client’s needs and goals.
With her orthopedic skills and extensive post-graduate training in pelvic health, Kelsey has the ability to treat her clients from tip to toe, inside and out. Kelsey has a particular interest in and passion for treating everything related to the pelvic girdle and works closely with clients who may be experiencing pain, sexual dysfunction, and/or bowel and bladder concerns. She also has the pleasure of working with individuals to address concerns related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and surgical rehabilitation (ex. post gender affirmation surgery, post pelvic cancer surgery).
Kelsey aims to empower her clients with the tools and skills required to take complete control over their physical well-being and is dedicated to creating a safe space for people to talk openly about their health concerns.
When she’s not in the clinic, Kelsey works as a pelvic-health lab instructor, assisting other physiotherapists develop the skills and tools required to conduct pelvic health assessments and treatments. As a former high-level athlete, Kelsey loves finding new ways to stay active. She can often be found exploring the mountains, failing at ball sports, and asking to pet strangers’ dogs.
