Christine Ziade
Bio:
I am a registered physiotherapist and the founder of Ethos Collective Physiotherapy. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology and a Minor in French. In 2010, I obtained my Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa. I have spent my entire career developing my skills in private practice. From 2013-2018, I worked at the TMJ Physiotherapy Clinic in Ottawa.
I have taken many continuing education courses in acupuncture, functional movement analysis, manual therapy courses, as well as numerous courses in visceral manipulation and neural manipulation from the Barral Institute.
Over the years, I have learned that pain and dysfunction is multifaceted and why “spot therapy” can often lead to dead end treatments and poor results. In my practice, the client is assessed and treated as a functioning whole. Creating an integrative holistic approach to physiotherapy is one of my primary goals.
My treatment practice and approach is predominantly a combination of manual therapy and an individualized functional exercise program. I treat people of all ages and fitness levels with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. This includes acute and complex chronic cases as well as preventative care. I strive to provide my clients a comprehensive, evidenced based and patient-centred service.
